Ocean Archive

Ocean Archive is a project that aims to create a collection of historic and current images and videos of underwater photography and also an archive of oceanographic datasets. The purpose of this archive is to create a future-proof source of information and visualization about everything happening below the surface of the ocean. The archive will serve as a valuable educational and research resource.

The Ocean Archive team will consist of individuals who will source historical materials and collect contemporary materials. They also aim to be an active participant in the underwater photography community, by contributing to the archive and sharing knowledge, methods, and material.

Voice of the Ocean Foundation wants to bring people’s attention to the ocean. By creating and curating this archive, we can showcase what has been happening in the sea historically and until today.

Ocean Archive will be available for research and educational purposes.
